The Social Club is open most Saturdays, including for Bingo nights on the first Saturday of each month. There is an 8 pool table available in the Club if you wish to play!
Our social committee organise regular social events and activities throughout the year! Our most popular events are monthly Bingo nights, German Whist, Valentines Party, Fun’n’Games, BBQ and Social nights.
Bingo on the 1st Saturday of each month – the doors open at 2pm and eyes down at 4pm. The bar is open and refreshments are provided.

Children are also welcome.
Reading Deaf Church Services are held in our chapel on the first floor (lift available), of Reading Deaf Centre on the third Sunday of February, April, June, August, October and December at 10.30 am. These services are led in BSL, with English words projected on the wall. After the service, join us downstairs for tea, biscuits and a chat.
We also have short special services for the over 50’s group on selected Tuesdays, such as Easter, Christmas, Harvest and New Year.
On the first Sunday of every month at 10.30 am, there is a service online on Zoom. If you would like to join in, please contact the chaplain for details.
There are other services in BSL elsewhere in the Diocese of Oxford (covering Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire); for example at St Nicolas Church, Newbury (3rd Sunday in January, March, May, July, September and November at 3 pm), Gerrards Cross and Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford. On the first Sunday of every month there is a BSL interpreted service in Milton Keynes.
